Recommendation

I met Edmund Schilvold for the first time in November 2010, when I took part in a three-day photography course that Edmund arranged and taught. On two of the days we were outside for practical photography. On the last day we were inside, learning Photoshop.

In those three days I learned a lot of new things, and Edmund did teach everyone individually. He teaches both theory and practice in a way that is easy to understand and follow.

In 2011 I was working on two different books. It was books with a lot of pictures, and I had no prior experience with laying out books. I saw the books Edmund had made, and I asked him to teach me Adobe InDesign.

He gave me a number of private lessons, and after those lessons I felt that I could handle InDesign and also Photoshop. He took the time to teach me everything I needed to lay out the books, and also to edit the pictures in Photoshop.

Edmund has also taught me Dreamweaver.

As a teacher, Edmund is trustworthy and considerate. He is professional in his work, and I give him my best recommendations.
